Surface Mount SMT PCB Assembly at CT Production

CT Production offers Surface Mount Technology PCB assembly by hand or machine, from fast track prototype to volume. Our flexible Europlacer SMT machines have quick-change intelligent feeders to handle components from 0201 resistors to ball grid arrays (BGA) and fine pitch devices upto 70mm square. We populate all the usual PCB materials, plus flexi, flexi-rigid, aluminium and microwave substrates.

Our Speedprint SMT PCB screen printers apply solder paste with accuracy and repeatability, confirming results with 2d automatic optical inspection (AOI). We use high quality, reliable BTU VIP98 7+7 zone convection ovens to reflow the solder paste. A Circuitmaster profiler is used to ensure accurate heating profiles for your product. SMT PCBs are subjected to Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) before proceeding to through hole PCB assembly or general assembly.

With accurate printing and profiling, Ball Grid Arrays (BGA) give a high-density reliable connection method. To confirm this, we offer Xray inspection. Our PCB assembly services are supported by experienced technicians and the necessary equipment for product modification or repairs, including ERSA BGA rework / replacement.
