Prototype and Fast-track Assembly at CT Production

Prototype and small volume printed circuit board, wiring and electromechanical assembly is carried out by our experienced technicians, either by hand or by machine, according to the product and parts involved.

Fast-track or standard assembly lead time arrangements are available, depending on how quickly you require your product.

We realise how important prototype quality is and how frustrating it is to spend time debugging only to discover a build error. We take particular care to check the first off 'golden sample' very meticulously and use this as a reference to generate and inspect more, if more than one is required.

Printed circuit board (PCB) prototypes are built by hand for through-hole technology or using semi or fully automatic placement machines if surface mount technology.  They are generally nspected by human eye but we may use our automatic optical inspection system if further assemblies are required.

Box assembly and wiring prototypes are assembled by our Technicians and verified by human inspection.

Design for manufacturing feedback. Our experienced Production Engineers review the design information and assembly process to avoid potential problems after prototype release.
