Xray Inspection and Rework

The latest technology electronic products contain devices where conventional visual methods of inspection cannot reach.

CT Production has invested in an X-Tek Hawk Xray inspection system and Ersascope inspection and rework systems to meet this need.

The X-Tek Hawk Xray enables viewing through a device to see its connections or other features, whether it be a BGA, QFN, connector, PCB inner layer etc.

The ErsaScope has a tiny prism lens for optical viewing underneath devices like BGAs to analyse solder joint quality as per any normally visible joint.

An Ersa IR550A rework system with full vision and computer control enables accurate positioning and heat profiling for removal and replacement of complex devices.
