Functional testing is the ultimate insurance to ensure you receive a working product. In most cases our customer provides a 'black box' test method to exercise the product, whilst CTP provides the usual array of test instruments, including safety testing of insulation and earthing for mains operated products where required. A detailed discussion with us will help to ensure it meets your requirements as an effective method for the product complexity and volume.

Safety testing ensures that the product meets your specified safety parameters in terms of insulation and earthing and is mainly used for mains powered product. The equipment at CTP is capable of testing at voltages upto 5000V insulation and 25A earth bonding using our Kikusui and Clare test equipment.

Fault Diagnosys and Repair is needed for dealing with any test failures and CTP employs capable and qualified Engineers and Technicians to diagnose to component level. For customer supplied test fixtures, appropriate training for product knowledge and test features is normally provided by the customer. Sophisticated rework and repair  facilities and technicians are also available.
